Knowledge gained by reading books can never be completed without practical experience. In order to give the students a greater exposure, the school often plans field trips. On 21st August 2024, the students of class XI visited the Tarwani Soap Industry. This visit allowed the students of Commerce stream to have a firsthand experience of the working environment of industries. After a formal welcome of the teachers and the students, a brief history of the firm (that is in existence since 1991) was given. The students were demonstrated the production process that is followed in the fully automated plant. They also focused on the fact that after HUL, Tarwani Soap Industry is the second plant to follow this technology. This visit aided in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, providing students with insights into the day-to-day operations, machinery and technologies used in this industry. The students also had an opportunity to interact with the professionals who clarified all their doubts by answering the questions of the inquisitive minds. The students also acquired knowledge about the way a particular market is targeted. The key person Mr. Uttam Chand Tarwani explained how they are targeting only the rural sector at present. The students were also provided samples. Such experiences not only enhance their understanding of their studies but also help them in making informed career choices by giving them a real-world perspective of their chosen industry.
