Graduation Day
Delhi Public School, Raipur, celebrated the Graduation Day of its kindergarten students on 19th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and pride. This annual tradition marks a significant milestone for the young learners as they transition into formal schooling, recognizing their achievements and promising beginnings.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Krishna Vyas, a renowned MDS specializing in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Raipur. Dr. Vyas was warmly welcomed by Mr. Pukhraj Jain, a member of the school management, along with the Principal, Mr. Raghunath Mukherjee, and Junior Headmistress, Ms. Neeti Bhatia. The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing wisdom and knowledge, followed by an invocation for divine blessings.
Parents and guardians, eagerly gathered to support their little ones, witnessed a delightful cultural program. The young graduates, dressed in vibrant traditional and contemporary attire, showcased their talents with confidence and charm. The event opened with a harmonious chanting of Sanskrit shlokas, reflecting the school's commitment to nurturing cultural roots.
A series of captivating performances followed, featuring classical Mohiniyattam, an energetic Sambalpuri dance, a soulful Sufi act, and a lively Western number. Together, these performances carried the theme of "Inclusive India," celebrating unity in diversity and promoting peaceful coexistence. Adding to the joy was a spirited choir rendition of The Best Day of My Life, which won loud applause from the audience.
The Principal, Mr. Mukherjee, presented the annual report, highlighting the school's accomplishments and the remarkable progress of its kindergarten students. The highlight of the event was the graduation ceremony itself, where each student was called on stage to receive a certificate and pose for a photograph, marking this special milestone in their educational journey.
In her address, Dr. Vyas commended the school's efforts and the children's outstanding performances. She expressed her admiration, saying, "It's rare to witness such thoughtful events and flawless presentations by young learners".
The Junior Headmistress, Ms. Bhatia, extended her heartfelt thanks to the parents and the Chief Guest for their encouragement and active participation. She emphasized the importance of their support in shaping the bright futures of these young graduates.
The day concluded with joyful celebrations, leaving behind cherished memories for the children, their families, and the entire school community.
