The Vicennial Milestone: DPSR Celebrates Two Decades of Excellence

Delhi Public School, Raipur commemorated its 20th Foundation Day on 20 June 2026, marking a significant milestone in the institution's illustrious journey of academic distinction and all-round student development. The occasion served not only as a celebration of two decades of excellence but also as a moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the school's enduring vision and values.

The celebrations commenced with the invocation of divine blessings through the traditional havan, conducted by the Principal, Mr. Raghunath Mukherjee, in the gracious presence of distinguished dignitaries. This solemn ceremony set the tone for a day dedicated to honouring the remarkable legacy of the institution. A vibrant cultural programme followed, portraying the school's inspiring twenty-year journey through captivating performances that reflected its rich heritage and remarkable achievements. The campus resonated with enthusiasm as students participated wholeheartedly in the celebrations, which included a special assembly, graceful dance performances, and thoughtfully curated decorations that beautifully captured the spirit of the occasion. Also, the students participated in a number of CCA Competitions, namely Bookmark and Greeting Card making, and Poster and Book Cover Designing.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Raghunath Mukherjee expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the entire DPSR fraternity for their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and collective efforts that have established the school as a centre of excellence, not only in academics but across diverse fields. He commended the faculty for their invaluable contribution to nurturing young minds and shaping responsible global citizens. Encouraging the staff to continue their pursuit of excellence, he also congratulated the students for their outstanding achievements in academics and sports, inspiring them to uphold the school's legacy by continuing to set exemplary standards.

As an expression of its commitment to social responsibility, the school subsequently organised a community outreach initiative at Nardaha Village, where students distributed handmade notebooks and essential stationery to children. Reinforcing the spirit of creativity and participation, students also enthusiastically took part in a series of co-curricular competitions, including Bookmark Making, Greeting Card Making, Poster Making, and Book Cover Designing.

The General Secretary of the Management Committee, Mr. Vijay Shah, extended his warm congratulations to the entire school fraternity, expressing confidence that Delhi Public School, Raipur would continue to uphold its reputation as a benchmark of educational excellence.
